The recently released film Ghoomer has become a favourite among the cricket community and has even earned a 9.5 rating on IMDB. The film tells an inspiring story of how a cricketer fights back after a career-ending injury, something every cricketer can relate to.
It's very rare for a film to bring an entire sports community together, but Ghoomer has done just that.
Here’s what the cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar said, “It was truly inspirational and should be watched by all youngsters,” while Kapil Dev said, “Simply Outstanding, very very nice.” Adding on to what Kapil Dev had to say, cricket personality Harsha Bhogle said, “Then there was Abhishek Bachchan. I think he lives the role of the coach. I love the way Abhishek married the two into his character.”

It’s an emotional film that will inspire you.” Murali Kartik added, “A really well done film,” with Rashid Khan calling it “A zabardast movie with a zabardast message.”
One thing Yuvraj Singh said stands out, 'Cricket is a game of emotions'. This line fits so well with Abhishek Bachchan's dialogue from the film, 'Logic nahi, magic ka khel hai'.
